- ENRICH Carolinas: In 2019, The Duke Endowment provided awards totaling $5 million to the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute at the Gillings School of Global Public Health for ENRICH Carolinas, to improve maternity practices for mothers and babies in hospitals across North and South Carolina. - Clare Boothe Luce: In 2017, the Henry Luce Foundation provided a $300,000 grant for UNC’s Clare Boothe Luce graduate fellowships program, which supports four outstanding women students in Chemistry. Learn more.
- Humanities for the Public Good: In 2017, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation invested $1.5 million in Humanities for the Public Good, which supports humanities and humanistic scholarship that is closely engaged with publics across the state and nation. Learn more.
